How many of you girls have had hair drama? Like the colour isn't right, your hair texture is hay approved or you've been told something but the opposite has happened? Yes I have been there and experienced that all before! But not anymore because I have met my hair goddess, Nicky Lazou! I will talk about everything about Nicky and what she has done, I will also do another blog post on hair care routines etc etc..

In April I visited Nicky for the first time in Birmingham and I was soo nervous because I am really protective over my hair and the last thing I wanted was ginger/copper/reddy hair... That's not chic guys like seriously... I had previously dyed my hair but it wasn't the colour I wanted and I wanted a nice ashy blonde type of colour. I told Nicky that I wanted balayage and showed her the colour that I wanted and see did state to me that it would take at least 3 VISITS to get my desired colour.

Nicky does her own custom blends and also ensures that the hair doesn't get damaged throughout the process of colouring the hair as it can leave it dry and brittled. Every stylist has their way of doing balayage and Nicky has her own way, but her main concern is that your hair should be in the best condition even after colouring it.

I had to have my hair colour corrected as I had previously dyed it before and she applied the colour on. This was a long process but Nicky made me feel so comfortable that at one point I forgot that I was even having my hair done! We had coffee and girly chit chats about random things which I loved!

After 3.5 hours I got to see the final look and I have never been so happy with my hair! I did have a trim and I did get my inch off, not anymore than that! Nicky did add more ash tones but with every wash, my hair did become lighter.

This picture was taken on the 17th July when I got a blow dry. As you can see over time the colour has gone more lighter from when I first did my hair.

I went to see Nicky for the second time and I told her that I wanted to go lighter as I'm still in love with my hair from when she first did it! We went a bit more ashy/silvery with the tips, she also face framed which looks amazing. Per usual we had chit chats, coffee and I got to play with her adorable puppy Balayage!

I can't fault Nicky at all because she truly is amazing at her job and she knows what do it! The service that she gives and the advice that she gives is brilliant! I love my hair more than ever and I can't wait to see her again, she truly is a hair goddess! If you guys have any questions then please feel free to tweet me, message me etc etc! Also go and check out Nicky on her social medias!

I will be doing another blog post on how I look after my hair and what I use! I hope you all enjoyed this post and like Nicky says "Remember to love your hair!"...

It's my birthday today!!! I thought I would a quick blog post on my make up and have a quick chit chat! As I'm just with family today, I decided to go for a neutral yet still glamorous look... You got to look on fleek for your birthday right?!

First of all, I didn't apply any foundation or anything! I just applied some Urban decay eye potion primer (you can use any sort of eye primer). After applying the primer, I used 'Tease' from my Naked 2 palette for my cut crease and blended it all out evenly.

I then used 'Suspect' all over my eye lid to give it that golden shimmery look. Suspect is amazing as it has undertones of brown as well which gives it that natural shimmery look.

After doing my eye shadow, I used L'oréal Super Liner Superstar to do a winged liner.. Gotta have that fleeky liner gals!

For my waterline I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in 'Stag'. I didn't want to do a harsh look so I applied it lightly.

Mascara is a must! I first curled my eyelashes using Shu Uemura eyelash curlers and then used Lancome Hypnôse Star mascara.... Guys like this is the shiz!!! Looking like you got fake lashes on and everything!

After doing my eyes, I then concealed my under eyes using the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and then applied the Maybelline Eye Eraser on top. (If you have a beauty blender then use it to get a flawless look)

I used 'Half Baked' Underneath my bottom water line to carry on with the golden eye look. I also  used it for the inner corner of my eyes.

I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (Light to Medium), I used havana (2nd row 3rd one) to contour and Banana (1st row 2nd one) to set my under eye concealer.

Nars Dolce Vita is my all time favourite blusher that I have been using for 3 years now! I love using big fluffy blush brushes so it gives it a subtle look and not too harsh.. A little goes a long way!

For Highlight I used Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter, guys like seriously this is amazing stuff! You NEED it! Some how I got a crack (Heart is breaking) but I am looking after it properly to avoid further cracks! I applied it above my cheek bones and down the bridge of my nose.

For my lips I used MAC Soar with a bit of velvet teddy!

So this was my birthday look, its very easy and subtle. I didn't want to do anything heavy as I wasn't going anywhere fancy but I will also do another blog post for #birthdaypart2! Let me know if you used any of these and what you think of them! All social medias are above so get following!

Lots of love xoxo

We have all been at that "I'm going to only buy cotton pads" stage... I do it all the time and I end up leaving with the whole shop! Here's my weekly damage of the dreaded cotton pads visit to boots!

Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection brush 301 Flat Contour: Recently I have purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and I wanted to try out the Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection brushes. This brush works really well with the contour kit! Trust me your contour will look so good that it could probably cut someone... That's not even a joke!

Browtician Kit Brows: Let's just say that this a very important topic. My brows have to be on "Fleek" all the time, without a doubt! I found this Browtician mini kit and I thought it would be great to put in your hand bag in case you need help! I can't tell you how many times I needed a pair tweezers when I was out and about... The little kit has an shaping brush, tweezers and a mini mirror within the compact case, awesome right?

Venus Snap: Probably the invention for when you are on the go. It's so handy for when you go on mini trips or to put in your gym bag!

Compeed Plasters: You just need these. Thank me later.

Oral B 3D Whiting Floss: Listen up flossing is a very important guys, like I can't stress this any more. Oh and this is best one I have ever used by the way!

Soap & Glory Glow All Out: This give such a nice glow and it's such an affordable drug store highlighter. This was an impulse buy as I'm on a highlighting hype.. (Blog post soon)

Soap & Glory Instant Retouch: I have been using this a lot and all I can say is that it is AMAZING. Some translucent powders are very chalky or either grainy but this is finely milled which gives that flawless look... Definitely try this out!

La Palette Nude: I am yet to try this out! I will do a look on this and give a review with the post! But this looks so pretty and it looks similar to the Naked 3 palette, so there's a dupe for you ladies!

Have you tried any of these, if so let me know!

Everyone loves music right?! If you don't then are you okay? I find music as a way to escape from everything like it's a stress release I guess.... I am a massive fan of all types of music and I won't say I belong to a specific genre but I'm more to the RnB/ Rap side (I LOVE DRAKE BTW) .... but then again Sam Smith or John Newman don't rap so thats why I don't belong to a genre!

I have made 4 playlists on my Soundcloud which are now public! I hope you check them out and have a listen. They are all different and hopefully you will like one out of the four, I'm intending to do a playlist every month just to keep up to date!

There's something for everyone from mainstream to house so have a look through! My soundcloud link is on the top bar so click that and you will go straight on to my page! Let me know if you like them or would like me to focus on a specific genre!

It's been a very long time since I last did a make up post and I have been recently experimenting with looks etc etc! I will try to keep posting up some looks and PS I AM NOT AN MUA! This is my way of doing it and what I use, so heres my Smokey purple eye look!

When I'm doing a heavy eye look, I tend to do my eyes first and then my face as it saves it getting really messy. First of all, I prime my eyes but I can't seem to find my primer (walkies)... I use Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Trust me ladies your eyeshadow won't move until you scrub it off yourself!

After Priming my eyes, I used L'Oréal Lumiere 502 all over my eyelid to give it that metallically taupe look to go along with the purple look.

I then used L'Oréal Smokey 301. I put this from the middle of my eyelid and outer corners of my eyelids to give it that smokey look. I then blended in the both colours to even it all out and I added a bit more purple to give it that intense look but it's all up to you on how smokey you want it!

As it had metallically taupe colour, I wanted to add a bit of gold into it as well. So I put on some YDK from the Naked 2 palette in the middle of my eyelids (Blend it in if it looks patchy!)  and the inner corner of my eyes.

I was wearing false lashes and they were Ardell Demi Wispies. I then went over the band line with L'Oréal Super Liner Superstar and Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara. (P.S Curl your eyelashes before you put the lashes on!)

Now on to the face and make sure to clean away any eyeshadow that's fallen on your face etc etc! I primed my face using Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in Radiance. I really love the glow that it has and I've been using it for over 2 years now so it's my all time fave.

I then put on my foundation which is NARS Sheer Glow in Syracuse. This leave your face looking AMAZING! I love the glowy yet matte look and it doesn't dry your face out at all. I used the Real Techniques Buffing Brush to put on my foundation.

For Under eye concealer I used 2 which were the NARS Creamy Concealer in 'Biscuit' and then used Maybelline The Eraser Eye in Nude. I used the Beauty blender for my under eye which gave it that flawless look (Highly recommended!)

I then got carried away and added more to my eyes.... It happens, trust me. I put Booty Call under my brow bone and put Half Baked under my bottom lashes. I used the same mascara to do my bottom lashes.

I did a bit of contouring as well with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (Light To Medium). I used the shade Fawn which gave it that natural look and not heavy look. I just got this so I'm still experimenting!

Blusher is a must! I used NARS Dolce Vita and it's my most favourite blusher of all times (It's hit pan and I want to cry literally..)

Last Cheek product is Dior Diorific "002 Perle D'or" Highlighter. Guys this makes you glow and that good in every way possible! I love this so much as it doesn't make you look Tinkerbell and give you that subtle glow.

To stop from shining or having an oily T Zone, I used Soap and Glory Instant Retouch. I brushed this along my T Zone and any where else I tend to oily on my face.

Finally I used MAC Velvet Teddy on my lips to finish off my look!

I would say that there is not a lot of products but there are and I tried to keep a mixture of drugstore and high end! I really hope some of you try this look out and get some sort of inspiration! All my social media links are on the bar above! Let me know if any of these products are your favourites and what are your cult beauty products?
