I say "The collection" but I should add that this is just the start of the collection!!! (There is plenty more to come...hahahahaha)

In the past I have had several types of perfumes but now I am only buying ones that suit me. As you know, I like perfumes that smell floral with oriental notes because it suits me and my personality. It's not that I don't like sweet or fruity fragrances, I do but I wouldn't wear it personally!

So here are my current perfumes:

YSL Cinema- is an oriental floral perfume (Did a blog post on my April Favourites). It's one of my favourites that I wear everyday! You can smell all the floral notes as well as the oriental notes like amber, musk and benzion. As you can see its nearly finished but I will be purchasing this again!

D&G Pour Femme- is a floral fragrance, it does have sweet notes but it's more of an floral fragrance. It has marshmallow, raspberry and vanilla notes which sounds yummy! But it is a light floral fragrance and not like a bunch of flowers which is over powering.

Armani Code- is a floral oriental perfume, I have to say that this is another favourite of mine! Its such a pretty perfume, I can't justify it by just writing about it! I would recommend you to smell this and see for yourself. Armani code is the only perfume that has the same notes throughout the perfume. So you will get the same constant smell throughout the day! (Orange blossom is the note, if you wanted to know!)

Stella by Stella McCartney- is a floral perfume, I did a blog post just for Stella on its own! So do have a look!

Miss Dior- is a sweet/ floral fragrance, I know you are thinking " Akey I thought you don't like sweet smelling perfumes?" Well when I brought "Miss Dior" I was only 16 and it was the advertisement that made me want to buy it (I get easily influenced!) But to be honest even though its sweet, I do like it.

Prada Leau Ambree- is an oriental floral perfume, I did a whole blog post on Leau Ambree so do have a look!

If I wanted to then I could sit here days on days explaining each perfume but in my opinion, I would recommend actually going to a store and smelling them. Its purely based on the fact that on different skins, it will smell differently. So next time you are out and about give them a try!

I do have a list of perfumes that I want to buy but I am controlling myself and not being tempted! I can officially say that I am a perfume junkie! I hope you all enjoyed this blog post and by seeing peoples perfumes they own, you can tell a lot about that person so I hope you also got to know me a bit more :)

Guess what!!!! I have hit my first ever 1000 views on my blog yayyyyyyy!!!!! This week I decided to go London with my bestie and have some fun!

Along the way I thought I would take some pictures and show them to all of you, so I hope you like them! When I decided to do this blog, I didn't really think that it will turn out to be this good and that people would even bother to read it but you guys are! So thank you for reading my blog because without you guys I wouldn't really be carrying on writing blog posts! Once again I have brought a new perfume and you get what I mean with the title now don't you!

I have been keeping my eyes on Stella for months! It was just the price which made me think "Hmmm Akey do you really need anymore perfumes?" not only that but I have a new rule, which is that I can't buy no more perfumes until I use up 2 other fragrances (Its reasonable, I think? But I didn't finish 2... Shhhh)

It's a beautiful fragrance and the top notes are rose, peony and mandarin; middle notes of rose absolute and the base note of amber. Although Stella is more of a floral fragrance, it still does have the oriental notes but I wouldn't classify it as an oriental floral fragrance.

It was the price which pulled me towards it! The 30ml is originally £39.50 but I got the 100ml for £39.99 at the Fragrance shop which I think is amazing for a 100ml.

So if you are out in town or shopping, do go and try it! If you do let me know what you think of it! Sundays blog post will be different as I decided to do something new so I hope you are excited!

So today's blog is about daily essentials on makeup!


So here are my essentials:
Jack wills eyeliner
Nars Blush: Amour
Body shop flawless skin protecting foundation SPF 25 (06)
Nude coloured lipstick (depends as I have several!)

As you can see I don't wear much make up and I go for the natural look because I believe simplicity is more. When I put makeup on, my face has to be clean. I have to have clean skin before I put anything on regardless of what it is! Plus no makeup from the day before! (I admit I am one of those types that falls asleep while wearing makeup! But not always.....Oops)
Although I have foundation, I don't put it all over my face. I just put it under my eyes when I don't get enough sleep! I wear it occasionally but even though I don't wear it everyday, my hands do reach for it when I wear makeup. Body shop foundations are amazing as they look really natural and it's not obvious that you are wearing it. Give it a try if you want to go for a natural look.

Then I apply my eyeliner which takes me like 2 minutes. At the moment I am using a pencil eyeliner but I normally wear liquid eyeliner, so I am currently experimenting on different ones! After that I will put my blusher on which is the Nars blusher which I love! 

Finally I will put on a lipstick (depends what mood I am in!) At the moment I am loving my Body Shop lipstick, over the last year I have gone through 2 of these and it's the perfect nude shade for me. The Mac lipstick is a bit darker but it also suits my skin perfectly but I haven't used it recently so I will start using now! The YSL lipstick is my recent lipstick purchase and its pretty much like the Body Shop lipstick but a bit lighter.

So that's my daily essentials on make up guys! I know it's not much but seriously I feel comfortable in my own skin, yes I have spots, blemishes etc etc but to be honest it doesn't bother me at all!

For me perfume is an essential thing that I have to wear before I leave the house! At the moment I am in love with YSL (Yves Saint Laurent but now known as Saint Laurent) Cinema, it smells beautiful. If you saw my first post you will know I am an oriental floral person so it has floral oriental notes. It's not overpowering so you can wear it everyday or for a night out. So I have been trying to find the perfect red lipstick and I couldn't find the right one until I saw the Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks. The formula of the lipsticks are so good, they don't dry your lips and they are very pigmented which is even better! The colour is like a vampirey red colour, I personally like matte lipsticks as I don't like shimmery lipsticks. I will purchase this again as this is the only red lipstick I have found which suits my skin tone!

I literally love eyeliners, I have to wear eyeliner everyday but recently my Chanel eyeliner ran out (Sad face) so I didn't have one until I found my Jack Wills Eyeliner (Brought it a while ago but I knew it would come handy at one point!). I don't tend to wear pencil eyeliners but this eyeliner is so pigmented and it lasts all day. It does the same job but its just not a liquid eyeliner, another plus point is that you can use it when you are doing smoky eyes as it gives a proper carbon look.

As you know (well that's if you live in the UK) the weather has been crazy, one minute its cold and the next its hot! This has seriously made my hand really dry and I can tell that it's not in good condition, so I had to invest in a hand cream which was going to repair my skin back to normal. I have heard from several people that the Elemis hand cream is amazing and that I should give it try, so I did! This creams does wonders! It's amazing, after a week I could see that my hands were going back to being soft! I would recommend this if you have dry hands as it will help. (Hopefully)

My hair is my pride and joy (That's not a lie!!) I try to look after my hair as much as I can. As I curl my hair a lot , I need something that will not damage my hair and that will keep it in a good condition. I have been using Aussie "Take the heat" since last year September (Yes its lasted me this long!) You only need a pump worth of serum which goes a long way! I have seen the changes as my hair is still in good condition and I am getting less split ends. I would recommend this as it's amazing and I would definitely purchase this product again.

On to my last favourite of the month which is the Collection Cream Puff! I am sure some of you ladies must have heard about the cream puff! Although it's a lip gloss, its more like a lipstick and lip gloss combined together. I am not a big lip gloss fan but I have to say the cream puff is really good and you can wear it for an everyday use. I went for a pinky shade but they have other colours which are beautiful. Give them a whirl and see what colour suits you!
