So it's 2013 and one fashion piece which is making its mark with some serious staying power is.... Statement necklaces!!

Oh my god, I can't tell you how much I am in love with necklaces! My collection is not getting any smaller but larger and increasing by the week! It's my creative way to beautify a simple outfit with a bit of glam.

When you wear a bold statement necklace, its important that your outfit is simple and casual. The last thing you want to do is wear a bright floral top with a bold necklace.... Don't do it! I will just go through some ideas I have put together, you might even have these clothing pieces in your wardrobe so now is the time to give them justice with some glam!

Denim Shirt with a Neon Necklace
Necklace: Miss Selfridge
Shirt: Republic
Girly dress with an Elegant Statement Necklace
Necklace: Accessorize
Dress: Next
Going Clockwise
Gold Chain Necklace: H&M/£9.99
Chain Necklace: Topshop/£6
Neon Necklace: Miss Selfridge/£3
Bubble Necklace: Primark/£4
Jewelled Necklace:Accessorize/£8

Also try solid coloured tops or dresses with multicoloured necklaces as they give it a whole new look with different colours. Black tops or dresses will look nice with any type of necklaces, personally I think bright coloured necklaces look nice on black as it shows a bit of colour. Even the art deco type of necklaces will look amazing with dresses!

With my outfits, I tend to mix and match so all the necklaces I have go with something. It's totally up to you whether you want to go all bright or elegant!

I hope you guys got some ideas! Don't be afraid to experiment and see how it goes! Never know what might look good!

Lots of love xx

Hey guys,

Today's post isn't going to be on fashion or makeup, it's actually about whether you are your own worst critic.

Everybody has something that they don't like about themselves. Whether it's their size, looks or anything else... We judge ourselves so badly that we think we are the most unattractive person but are we really that bad the way we make ourselves seem? Do you know that women are their own worst critic? Have you ever thought when someone else sees you, they might think you are beautiful?

Everyone is insecure about something and it's not bad! Nobody is perfect, everybody has flaws and you should learn to love yourself for who you are! Trust me, I am one of those types who just moan about how I think I look dreadful! But then I realised that if I keep doing this, then I will only make myself seem much worse than what I am.

I would love you guys to watch this link because I really do think it's amazing!

How do you feel after watching that? Do you think you are your own worst critic?

So be happy, feel proud of who you are and learn to love yourself because you are beautiful! Shrug off all the negativity and look forward! If there is something you want to change then you can, you just need to build up that confidence and be strong.

I hope your all okay and looking forward to the weekend! Don't forget about Sunday's post!

Hi guys, hope your all good and enjoying your day :)

So today I decided to do a shopping haul! (I mean come on it's me! What did you expect?) I will go through everything that I have brought recently as I needed new things.........My excuse to shop but don't worry it's acceptable (in my eyes) ha ha!! So let's get started!

So my first purchases was from Topshop and I had to get my hands on the "Joni" jeans as I have been hearing that they are amazing and blah blah blah....... So I decided to get them and see what's different about them than other jeans. With jeans I am a very fussy person because I hate the bottom of my skinny's to look baggy (please tell me you know what mean like by the bottom part?) I like mine to look like fitted and not loose around the ankle.

They are high waisted jeans which I have never tried before so I decided to give it a whirl and I really do like them, they are so comfortable to wear! The material of the jeans are stretchable so you will fit in to your original size, with me I went down a size so instead of purchasing a size 12 I brought a 10 because it was perfectly fine and still roomy so I was able to move around in them. I brought a black and a dark navy one because personally I think dark coloured jeans go with everything and anything! So they are worth the price!

Price: £36 each
Size:10

While I was shopping my eye caught on a top, its like an American football T-shirt which is over sized and looks so cool. Also it's comfy so you will be able to wear it when you go out or 6th form etc etc! The front of the top has like a leather matte font so that gives it an edgy touch! I would pair this with jeans and maybe a leather jacket? I will try to do some outfits and post them on Instagram!

Price:£20
Size: S/M

On to the next purchases! My next stop was at urban outfitters and I brought 2 jumpers. I know I bet you're thinking "Akey its spring and you're buying jumpers? Are you mad?" But trust me guys the weather in London is so unpredictable and knowing our weather anything can happen. It's still snowing in April.....So you get the gist right?

The first jumper I purchased is stylish and edgy! It's a dark greyish jumper with slits on the shoulder so you can see your arms. I fell in love with it when I saw it because it was different and you can dress it up too. I would pair it with a statement necklace and probably skinny jeans to make it look like a day time outfit....The less hassle the better right?

Price:£16 originally £35
Size: Small
Brand:Sparkle & Fade

The second jumper I brought was a "RUN DMC" jumper which is the genuine one and its retro so you will be able to wear this casually or even on a night out. I've always wanted one but never found one so I decided to get it! The material of the jumper is a really good quality and the price of it was so worth it as they cost a lot more on the website. With the sizing on this jumper I was after the baggy look and not fitted so I did get a bigger size, but its all based on personal preferences!

Price:£25 originally £45
Size:L

Also just to let you guys know I did use my student discount (10% off) because both shops accept them and also urban outfitters accept it on sale items too!

I also brought a ring online which hasn't arrived yet! But it is a sterling silver above the knuckle ring from Fashionology. It's such an investment piece and if you are a ring fanatic like me then you will love it (hopefully) I will post the website link down below. As it is sterling silver it is a bit pricy but I know I will wear it a lot as I do love my rings! I will post a picture up on Instagram once it comes!

Price:£16.05

My next purchase was from H&M and it was double gold/brass chain which looks stunning! I am really picky when it comes to gold coloured jewellery as some of them look tacky and not just right. But with this chain it has a really nice antique gold/brass finish so I decided to get it as it will look really nice with jumpers and plain top outfits... (Could wear it with the jumper's and the T-shirt?)

Price:£9.99

Finally on to my fave and last item! I brought was an YSL lipstick. It's a beautiful nude colour which looks natural when you apply it but it is also visible that you are wearing it which is great! It also doesn't dry your lips out like other lipsticks which I have tried. I know that it's a bit over priced but trust me it is long lasting and it's okay to treat yourself once in a while......( I'm not responsible for anyones overdraft if you decided to break the bank!!!!)

Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in number 5 (Etrusque)

Price:£25.00

I know I could go on and on forever but I wanted to keep the haul short instead of making it uber long! So I am sorry for the long winded description but its better to know and see for yourself before you go crazy like me buying the whole world!

I hope you guys enjoyed my recent crazy shopping spree and I will also try and post a blog every Sunday or Monday so keep your eyes peeled! Also I will try and post outfits and things on my Instagram so do have a look!

Lots of love xx
