ARE YOU READY FOR A BATH?
9 September 2014Now I know many people have different ways of cleaning their make up brushes and of course I have my way too. I wash my brushes every week as my skin is very sensitive and if I don't wash my brushes then I tend to have breakouts... So I try to save myself the trouble of having my spots over for the weekend! Here's my list of things that I use when I am cleaning my brushes:
- A Clean Jug (Buy one for your make up brushes specifically!)
- Baby Shampoo
- Obviously your dirty brushes!
- A pair of hands
I will make this simple and easy as I hate washing dishes let alone my brushes... It's a chore and half! I don't have any fancy technique as all I do is put my brush under some water, squirt some baby shampoo in the palm of my hands and swish the brush in the shampoo until all the product is out.
I then fill the jug up with luke warm water and swish the brush in the jug to get out all the shampoo and do this until I believe it's clean. I then leave my brushes on the edge of my table so that they can air dry naturally and that no water is left.
Now for me that sounds pretty easy right? Like I mentioned before, everyone has their way of cleaning their brushes and I just decided to chose the easy route! Yes I know, I am very lazy but ain't nobody sitting washing brushes for hours!
I hope you found this useful and let me know how you wash your brushes or do you have a similar way of doing it like me?
Lots of love xoxo
