It's Rupinder here from Rouge Rose Petale doing a special christmas post for Akey's World. I love reading this blog and was so excited when I was given the amazing opportunity to guest post here and felt incredibly honoured so thank you Akey! :)

Anyway, on with the post and I'm focusing on a particular winter warmer that I think we all enjoy and indulge in - even if its just now and again. HOT CHOCOLATE.
I love treating myself to one on a friday evening curled up by the fire, and this particular recipe is insanely good and takes next to no time at all.

 
What you will need:


Twinings Swiss Hot Chocolate
Milk
Brown Sugar
Cadburys Milk Chocolate/ Nutella
Cookies (or any topping of your choice)

Method:

Measure the right amount of milk for your mug and heat through in a saucepan.

 

 

Mix in 3-4 tbsp (per mug) and stir in well followed by a stick of chocolate broken up. You can substitute this for 1 or 2 tbsp of Nutella if you prefer.

Mix well until creamy and all contents are blended well, followed by adding a spoon or two of brown sugar for extra sweetness.


Take off the heat and pour into your mug followed by the topping of your choice. I crushed up some oat and honeycomb cookies really fine and sprinkle on top. You can however, put marshmallows and cream or whatever you like instead.
 
 
 

Note - Excitement may take over and take care not to burn your tongue.
